I frequently think the term Global Warming is the wrong term even the term Climate change doesn't really describe what is happenning when you have Saskatchewan flooding one year and in drought the next. Here is a great video that explains what is happening:

Hmmm ... interesting video. It almost seems like we've forgotten about what we're doing to the climate (and the planet).
On your comment. I prefer "global warming", simply because the term "climate change" came from the Republican word-masters.
My concern with the use of the term "warming" is - people have trouble understanding how increased rain, tornadoes, snow are connected to the climate getting warmer.
thank you for this!
What about the solar flares driving us all mad?

Global warming? I really prefer the term Massive Global Weather Change. This year almost all of the the Greenland ice cap had running water over it. How much more proof do we need to have to know that something is wrong?
I'd prefer the term 'business as usual' since nothing at all extraordinary or unprecedented is happening to tornadoes, rainfall, or any other meteorological phenomenon.
The fiscal cliff is nothing - we are going over the climate cliff...
It happens to any part of the planet. I really find it strange.

I'v only recently found your blog, but it's a shame you no longer keep it up to date.
Your articles are educational, and your purpose is honorable. Global warming, and how we treat our environment is a subject that needs to be pressured into the minds of the everyday joe.
